Friendship Archway

The Friendship Archway was renovated in 2020. The restoration was completed with-in three months and open to the public. Our work was featured throughout the D.C. Metropolitan area on various news outlets. 

The marble signs and concrete posts on the archway, were repaired and painted.  The lotus and cantilever elements were repaired and reinforced. The Archway structure has 7,000 tiles that were cleaned of Alge and debris. Broken clay tiles were replaced. Gold Gliding was used to repaint dragons. Many wood portions of the Archway was rebuilt. Archway was finished with vibrant colors to bring life back to the famous structure
